
Martin Gramont
Founding Partner, Chairman & CEO
Dr. Martin Gramont is the Founding Partner, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Polarix Group. With more than twenty-five years of experience in private equity, investment banking, and global asset management, he has advised and executed transactions across the Americas and Europe on behalf of leading institutions and investors.
Prior to establishing the Firm, Dr. Gramont served in leadership roles at Citibank, Salomon
Smith Barney (New York), The Exxel Group, and Altai Capital (London), where he directed
multi-billion global equity strategies. He later founded Hermaion Capital Management in
Geneva, advising family offices and high-net-worth individuals on global investment portfolios. He also served as Special Advisor to Enverra Partners in Washington D.C., a geopolitical and cross-border investment advisory Firm led by the U.S. Army four-star General (Ret.) Wesley K. Clark.
Dr. Gramont holds a BA in Economics (University of Buenos Aires), a Master in Public Policy
and Economics (Harvard University), a Doctorate in Business Administration (INSEEC, Paris),
and a Ph.D. in Economics (University of Lugano, Switzerland). He has been a scholar at the
David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies (Cambridge, MA) and recipient of the
Amalia Lacroze de Fortabat Scholarship at Harvard University.
He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, and divides his time between Buenos Aires and
Monaco, where he lectures in Economics and Finance at the International University of Monaco.
