Shunko Rojas

Dr. Shunko Rojas is Polarix’s Associated Partner and Chief Legal & General Counsel. A lawyer and senior international strategist, he brings more than two decades of experience in trade, investment, and regulatory affairs across Latin America. His expertise spans cross-border negotiations, international business, public policy, and strategic communications.
He is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Quipu Advisors, a boutique advisory firm serving global investors and corporations in Latin America. He previously served as Argentina’s Undersecretary for International Trade, where he led negotiations including the EU–Mercosur Free Trade Agreement and the Argentina–Brazil Double Taxation Treaty, advancing the country’s global integration.
Shunko also worked with the Inter-American Development Bank, Chadbourne & Parke in Washington, D.C., and the OECD in Paris. He is currently a Senior Advisor to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Rojas holds a law degree summa cum laude from the University of Buenos Aires, a master’s from the London School of Economics, and a Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) from Harvard Law School.
